Reebok realllllly likes assigning metaphors to their running sneakers all of a sudden.

Just a few months after introducing energy drinks for your feet, the company that won the John Wall lottery is introducing the RunTone. Aka, the sneaker that brings "sand to the streets".

"GearHead, why does the RunTone bring sand to the streets," you may be asking...

According to Reebok, there's no actual sand involved. Instead, thanks to a series of patented air pockets running along the soles, cross-training in a pair of RunTone's is said to be as comfortable as taking a barefoot jog on the beach. Minus all the sand stuck to your ankles. And the jelly-fish. And the sea-gulls. But anyway...

Got it? Good. Now check below for closeups of the sneaker, and its spiffy new air-padding.
