Going Long with Vikings Breakout Star Stefon Diggs
Stefon Diggs knows how to make an entrance.
In a short time, the Minnesota Vikings rookie wide receiver has set the league on fire, creating excitement with his quick-thinking and skilled plays. Although he was inactive for the Vikings’ first three games, he made his mark when his number was called in October. Diggs became the first player in league history to have 85-plus receiving yards in his first four NFL games, surpassing the record of former Vikings star Randy Moss. That span included back-to-back games of 100 or more yards, against the Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions. Diggs chatted with me about his hot start recently.
I recently had a chance to talk with the Maryland native about his breakout season, the obstacles and setbacks he faced during his journey to the NFL, and how his success is a testament to the lessons his late father taught him. Check it out!
