Watch Every Stanley Cup Celebration Since 1949
There's no better postseason than the NHL playoffs. It's tough, it's brutal, it's personal. And at the end of the road is the best trophy in sports, the Stanley Cup. So, of course, when a team wins the Cup the celebrations can be big and loud and emotional.
You might have seen Cup victories from the past few years on TV or online. But a YouTube user did every hockey fan a huge favor and created a massive super cut of every Cup celebration since 1949. If you love hockey, or just great sports moments, you'll definitely want to check it out:
A quick update on the opening round of the 2014 NHL postseason: It's been pretty intense. The Blue Jackets evened up their series with the Penguins, 2-2, last night after coming back from a 3-0 deficit to win 4-3 in overtime. (Fun fact: Every game in the series has seen a team drop at least a two goal lead.) The Blues jumped out to a 2-0 series lead, only to have the Blackhawks roar back to tie the series, 2-2. Colorado/Minnesota is personal and physical. So is the Boston/Detroit series. Oh, and the Canadiens swept the Lightning, with the Sharks looking to do the same to the Kings tonight.
