Novak Djokovic Buys the World's Supply of Donkey Cheese
Well, this is one of the weirder stories of the day. The current No. 1 tennis player in the world, Novak Djokovic, has purchased the entire year's supply of one of the world's most expensive cheeses.
At roughly $500 per pound, the cheese produced in the Serbian town of Zasavica, is made from the milk of donkey's who graze in one of the country's biggest wildlife preserves. The cheese, called pule, is white and crumbly like manchego. The tennis champ, a Serbian native, bought up all of the supplier's inventory because he wanted to make sure that he could have enough for the chain of restaurants he plans to open in his homeland. Oh, well then, that makes total sense...
If you could buy the world's supply of one type of cheese and have it just for yourself, which would you buy? I'd maybe hoard gouda.
